Now it’s Spotify’s turn.
That $1 billion they got in March helps. Now the music streaming site is going to be offering a new video series with 12 episodes, each up to 15 minutes each. The shows will be covering music and culture…and it appears to be original programming. They’ve been partnering with outlets like ESPN and MTV.
So what does this mean? I don’t know beyond that it’s yet another nail in the coffin for traditional radio.
